Join a thriving food production facility in Southern New Hampshire where your mechanical and electrical expertise will help power daily operations. This is a full-time opportunity on the first shift, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. What Youll Do Perform daily equipment startups and line setups to ensure seamless production Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems including conveyors, depositors, and packaging equipment Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life Inspect and maintain facility systems such as refrigeration units, utility rooms, and roof areas Respond to maintenance calls across departments with urgency and precision Document all repairs and maintenance activities in accordance with safety and compliance standards What You Bring Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Experience replacing components like bearings, belts, shafts, and motors Familiarity with 3-phase electrical systems and basic PLC diagnostics (no programming required) Ability to work independently and manage time effectively High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training a plus Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance role Bonus Skills (Preferred but Not Required) HVAC Technician License or experience with ammonia refrigeration systems Basic plumbing and welding knowledge Forklift certification Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and use diagnostic tools Work Environment Indoor production facility with exposure to machinery, noise, and temperature variations Requires standing, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), and climbing ladders up to 30 feet Safety gear and protocols strictly enforced Schedule & Compensation First shift hours with potential overtime Weekend availability may be required based on production needs Competitive hourly wage based on experience This is a temporary to hire opportunity!
