Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel WCS is seeking a Med-Surg RN for a travel contract at a hospital in NYC. Job Function: Night Shift. 3x12: 7pm-7:30am. Administer prescribed medications (oral, subcutaneous, IV) and accurately document all treatments Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report findings per facility policy Educate patients on surgical procedures and post‑operative expectations Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and clinical assessments Operate, monitor, and adjust specialized patient‑care equipment; interpret and document electronic data Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high‑quality patient care Job Requirements: Active NYS License. Meditech experience required. Floating Required. 2 years MS/Tele experience. Coronary Care experience required. Previous hospital RN experience preferred. BLS. ACLS. PALS.
