Opportunity: Physician - Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology Job Details: • Full-time position from May to December (with potential for extension) • Monday-Friday schedule performing 14-16 procedures per day • On-call responsibilities one weekend per month • Procedures-only role (no outpatient clinic responsibilities) • Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, and fulguration capabilities • Lower GI procedures including flexible and rigid sigmoidoscopy • Colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision • ERCP (diagnostic and therapeutic) • Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) skills preferred • PEG placement, esophageal dilatation/manometry, and liver biopsy experience • Must be board certified in Gastroenterology • Active Maryland license or IMLC required • BLS certification required • Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60 days • Completed fellowship required Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
