Loan Servicing Systems Administrator - Hybrid (Laurel, MD)Location:7901 Sandy Spring Rd., Suite 501, Laurel, MD 20707 Work Type:Hybrid Placement Type:Contract-to-Hire Experience Level:ExpertPosition OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilledLoan Servicing Systems Administratorto manage and enhance core mortgage and consumer lending platforms for a leading financial institution. This role is ideal for a technical, analytical, and detaildriven professional with deep expertise in loan servicing systems and financial data integrity. The administrator will oversee daily system operations, test and validate new releases, coordinate with IT teams and vendors, and ensure the accuracy of credit reporting and loan data. This is a handson, senior-level role requiring the ability to troubleshoot complex issues, implement system improvements, and support crossdepartmental initiatives.To qualify, candidates must have a minimum of 4-5 years of progressively responsible experience in mortgage or consumer loan servicing systems administration.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain key servicing systems, includingFICS Servicing,Fiserv DNA, Mortgage Accountant, and related applications. Develop and execute test plans for system patches, upgrades, and new functionality to ensure compliance and operational reliability. Troubleshoot system issues, collaborating with IT and vendors to reduce downtime and ensure continuity. Configure and manage user access, security roles, permissions, and system settings. Develop and maintain scripts, integrations, and automated processes to increase system efficiency. Monitor credit bureau reporting, correct discrepancies, and ensure accuracy and regulatory adherence. Produce custom reports, data extracts, and analyses for audits, internal teams, and operational needs. Support or lead disaster recovery efforts for servicing applications. Identify, design, and implement workflow automations and process improvements. Maintain thorough documentation of procedures, system configurations, test results, and change management activities. Ensure all servicing operations comply with federal/state regulations and internal policies. Train end users on new system updates, releases, and best practices. Serve as a key liaison between Loan Servicing, IT, vendors, and project teams. Participate in strategic projects and perform additional duties as assigned.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 4-5+ years of progressively responsible experiencein mortgage and/or consumer loan servicing systems administration within financial services or credit unions. Extensive experience withFICSandFiserv DNA(implementation and maintenance experience strongly preferred). Strong background in consumer lending, including simple interest loans, credit lines, interest accrual, and lending practices. Ability to create and analyze reports using financial systems. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and MS Office Suite. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with regulatory requirements.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesSolid understanding of relational databases and query structures; ability to interpret and analyze system data. Proficiency in building reports, data presentations, spreadsheets, and technical documentation. Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong understanding of loan servicing practices, including payment posting, escrow, file maintenance, payoffs, and collateral management. Working knowledge of federal lending regulations (TRID, TILA, RESPA, BSA/AML, OFAC). Familiarity with credit union policies, procedures, and loan product guidelines.CompensationPay Rate:$41.29 - $51.61 per hour (Based on experience) Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Laurel, MD.
