Position Summary: The Clinical Support Staff at River Valley Counseling Center (RVCC) provides essential secretarial and receptionist support to ensure the smooth daily operations of their assigned site. This role involves scheduling appointments, verifying client information and insurance, managing records, answering calls, and maintaining organized and professional public areas. The Clinical Support Staff works collaboratively with clinical teams, supports administrative tasks and special projects, and demonstrates strong communication, organizational, and technical skills while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and RVCC policies. Key Responsibilities: Provide secretarial and clerical support for the effective operation of the assigned site location Coordinate and schedule appointments or meetings, as requested, for the professional staff Verify client information at the time of visit Organize and maintain accurate files and records and to retrieve files as necessary Answer phone calls promptly and courteously and to take and communicate message accurately Handle correspondence, recordkeeping, database maintenance, and release of information procedures Assist in the care and maintenance of office equipment and supplies and to report equipment malfunctions promptly Assist the Site Director and professional staff with special projects and to perform other duties relative to site operations, as assigned or directed Qualifications: Required: Education Level - High School Diploma or GED. Years of Experience - 6 months experience in an administrative and computerized office environment required.
