The client is seeking a Procurement Coordinator to join the Capital Facility Projects, IMIT Solutions Group, under the Digital Patient and Provider Experience division. This role is integral to supporting health care facility projects and ensuring alignment with the evolving Digital Health transformation agenda. The Coordinator will be involved in procurement processes surrounding the planning, architecture, and systems technology for large projects, ensuring adherence to established standards across multiple facilities. This position demands a comprehensive understanding of public sector procurement, contract management, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to support the redevelopment project's objectives. The role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, starting from the intake of contract requests to the development and authoring of purchasing documents like requisitions and statements of work. The Procurement Coordinator will need to ensure that all procurement tasks adhere to key sourcing and criteria standards. Another crucial aspect of the position includes managing approvals and negotiating the execution of contracts, guiding the project team through the necessary procurement procedures. Additionally, the individual will provide oversight on contract management, ensuring continuity in vendor consulting services and addressing any amendments or renewals needed to maintain smooth operations. Further responsibilities include supporting the identification, qualification, and registry of vendors through established processes, as well as partnering with project team members for vendor review, selection, onboarding, and off-boarding. This includes managing vendor onboarding activities such as account setups and fulfilling contractual obligations. The Coordinator will also streamline workflow processes between redevelopment, finance, and procurement entities and offer expert consulting advice to improve procurement efficiencies. Mentorship and training for staff members on procurement-related tasks are part of the responsibilities to foster a knowledgeable and capable team.
