Job Summary: This role is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, repairing, and installing industrial equipment, water systems, and other facility systems. The position also involves troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues with guidance and direction from plant management. As an Operating Engineer/Industrial Maintenance Mechanic You Will: Perform preventive maintenance, repair, and installation of industrial equipment, water systems, and facility systems Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues with guidance from plant management Perform carpentry, painting, custodial, and other general facility maintenance tasks Participate in safety committees to promote and maintain safe work practices Follow instructions and complete assignments safely and in a timely manner Adhere to all policies, procedures, and industry best practices Work cooperatively and professionally with other employees Ability to work off-shift hours or weekends to support special projects and overhauls Perform other duties as required Skills/Requirements: Some experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial or cleanroom environment Proficient in the safe use of power tools, forklifts, manlifts, and hand tools Ability to read blueprints and electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other technical diagrams Prior experience assigning tasks and goals preferred Experience with boiler operation, wastewater processing, HVAC systems, and general facility repair Experience operating or maintaining industrial washers, dryers, steam tunnels, automated folders, conveyors, boilers, overhead hoists, and reverse osmosis water treatment equipment a plus Education: High school diploma or GED preferred Benefits: Exceptional Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Time Off for vacation, holidays and sick time Full Tuition Reimbursement Paid Life Insurance 401K with company match Profit sharing.
