Warehouse Maintenance Mechanic Ingles Markets is looking for a Maintenance Technician for its Distribution Center located in Black Mountain, NC. As a Maintenance Technician, you will: Ensure facilities and equipment are maintained and in working order. Complete basic plumbing repairs, small scale electrical jobs, troubleshooting, mechanical and electrical repairs. Multiple shifts - Certification and shift differential may apply. Start earning Paid Time Off day 1 (FT). Weekly pay with direct deposit. Opportunities for advancement. Employment Requirements: Must be 18 years of age or older. Will conduct a Criminal Background Check. Must pass an E-Verify Screening. Valid driver's license required for operating company service vehicles. Physical Requirements: Varied warehouse environments. Standing, sitting, kneeling, crouching, climbing required. Must have the ability to operate a forklift. Must have the ability to read schematics. Experience: Applicants should have a High School Diploma or equivalent. Must have a good mechanical background, with working knowledge of circuit electricity, plumbing, and basic refrigeration. Forklift certified, preferred. Must want to work and have excellent attendance. Must be willing to learn and pay attention to detail.
