This Travel RN opportunity is within a robust Electrophysiology (EP) program at a Level II Trauma Center, using state-of-the-art technology and collaborating with experienced staff and physicians. Job Details Position: Travel Cath Lab Registered Nurse / EP Nurse Location: Hudson, FL 34667 (Pasco County, near Tampa Bay) Setting: Cardiac Cath Lab (EP Lab) – Cardiac/EP Nursing Assignment Type: Travel RN (13-week assignment) Start Date: March 10, 2026 End Date: June 9, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10 Hour Days (07:00-17:30) Hours per Week: 40 Estimated Weekly Pay: $2250-$2370/week Facility: 309 beds; 2 EP Labs Unit: Main Building, 1st Floor Scrub Color: RN – Navy Blue Parking: Anywhere except ER parking Required Qualifications (Cath Lab RN / EP Nurse) Active and unencumbered RN license (Florida or multistate compact RN preferred) Minimum 1 year recent, hands-on experience in Electrophysiology (EP) and Cardiovascular Technology (CVT) Demonstrated ability to monitor and scrub EP cases (EP diagnostics, A-Fib ablations, device implants) BLS certification (required) ACLS certification (preferred) Cath Lab experience preferred; experience with EP procedures and implantable cardiac devices strongly desired Strong teamwork, clinical communication, adaptability, and ability to function in a fast-paced cardiac cath lab Key Responsibilities Scrub and monitor Electrophysiology (EP) cases including A-Fib ablations, EP diagnostic studies, pacemaker/ICD insertions and related device procedures Assist with TEE/CV procedures and provide intra-procedural monitoring for cardiac patients Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of CVT techs, cath lab RNs, and physicians to deliver high-quality cardiac care Operate and utilize GE X-ray and Claris hemodynamic systems; accurately document procedures in Mac Lab and Meditech EMR Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Work every other weekend and rotate holidays with hospital staff as scheduled Demonstrate flexibility, a positive attitude, and the ability to function as a self-starter and reliable team player Why Join This Travel RN Opportunity Work in a high-volume EP program at a Level II Trauma Center with experienced cardiac teams Gain hands-on EP and device experience—ideal for cardiac cath lab nurses and EP nurses seeking travel nurse jobs in Florida Enjoy Gulf Coast living with proximity to Tampa Bay beaches, parks, and outdoor recreation Apply now to be considered for this Travel Cath Lab RN (EP Nurse) role in Hudson, FL.
