Details Intermediate Care (IMC) level surgical unit specializing in Surgical, Urology, and Thoracic patients Multi-level care environment encompassing adult inpatient acute, telemetry, and intermediate care with continuous vital sign monitoring and some advanced monitoring Pre- and post-operative bedside surgical care provided on the unit Dysrhythmia management is required as part of daily patient care Epic EMR used; prior experience is preferred Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts) Floating required as needed to areas of like skill set within 11 West (IMC and Med/Surg levels) Orientation takes place on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month Requirements Active MD or Compact RN license currently in hand Minimum 2 years of current RN experience PCU/IMC clinical experience required Surgical patient care experience required Experience at a facility with 500 beds required Dysrhythmia management competency required Current BLS certification required ACLS certification preferred SSN and DOB required for consideration One professional reference required for consideration Additional Information Local candidates are accepted at the same bill rate Prior travel experience (1–2 assignments) is preferred but not required This is a high-acuity academic medical center environment; strong, well-qualified candidates are encouraged to apply American Traveler Job ID P-675001.
