Gastroenterology Physician

Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Gastroenterology Summary: Join a dynamic team at a leading healthcare facility in Bismarck, North Dakota, seeking a Gastroenterologist for locum coverage. The facility is well-equipped and dedicated to providing comprehensive gastrointestinal care. Candidates specializing in general GI are welcome, with preference given to those experienced in ERCP. Job Responsibilities: Provide clinical care for hospitalized GI patients. Perform essential procedures including colonoscopy, biopsy, polypectomy, proctoscopy, and more. Manage patient rounds at the hospital, typically averaging 5 to 6 patients daily. Conduct 1 to 2 scopes per day based on patient needs. Participate in 24-hour on-call coverage with hospital rounding for 8 hours. Utilize EPIC for electronic medical record documentation. Work independently as the sole gastroenterologist on-site during assignment. Qualifications: Board Certified in Gastroenterology (REQUIRED) State License Pending license accepted; may obtain at offer (Will consider IMLC) (REQUIRED) BLS and DEA certification (REQUIRED) Clean malpractice history preferred Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation (REQUIRED) Experience in general GI; ERCP certification highly preferred License and Certification Requirements: Board Certification in Gastroenterology State Medical License BLS Certification DEA Registration NPDB Self-Query Report Come experience the charm of Bismarck, North Dakota a city known for its beautiful parks, rich cultural heritage, and a welcoming community.
