Telephone Control Officer with Security Clearance

Overview Nakupuna Companies is seeking a Telephone Control Offier. The Telephone Control Officer (TCO) is responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting telephone systems, including VoIP, PBX, DSN, ISDN, and traditional telephony systems, while ensuring reliable communication services for the organization. Installation and Maintenance:Install telephone systems and equipment, including cables and devicesConfigure VoIP and PBX phones and systemsPerform routine system maintenance and work with other parties to resolve themInstall network cabling for VoIP and support conference room connectivitySet up conference calling systems Troubleshooting and Repair:Provide voice and data support, including dial tone, fax services, conference bridging, DSN, ISDN, voicemail, audio commands, GETS cards, wireless services, and lease circuitsDiagnose telephone system issues; repair faulty equipment; resolve voice quality problems; fix connectivity issuesAddress user-reported issues and maintain system functionality System Administration:Effectively gather, analyze, respond to, resolve, or forward customer telecommunications needs or issuesManage phone system configurationsUpdate system softwareMonitor system performanceMaintain user directoriesConfigure call routingManage system securityTrack inventoryDocument system changes Qualifications Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent requiredAssociate's degree in Electronics or Telecommunications preferred2 years of experience in telephone systemsRelevant certifications such as:BISCI Technician CertificationVoIP CertificationsCisco Voice CertificationsVendor-specific certificationsCompTIA A Clearance Requirements: Active TS/SCI security clearance required. Must be a U.S. citizen. The Nakupuna Companies use a market-based compensation strategy to ensure that our employees are compensated within applicable market ranges commensurate with multiple factors, including but not limited to the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, and position location. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,000.00 to $88,000.00 (annualized USD).
