Description The Duke University School of Nursing (DUSON) invites applications from doctorally prepared candidates for a full- time, on-campus faculty position with primary teaching and leadership responsibilities within the school's distance-based Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program teaching advanced pharmacology. Qualifications Well qualified applicants will be clinically experienced with a minimum of two years of full-time clinical practice as a registered pharmacist and be eligible for approval to practice as a pharmacist in North Carolina. Pharmacologists or advanced practice nursing educators who have demonstrated record of teaching advanced pharmacology would also be considered. At least two years of demonstrated success teaching in an online or distance-based university setting is preferred. Competitive candidates are those with experience in curriculum development, mentorship of students and interprofessional health education training and/or experience. Candidates should also show evidence of a developed program of scholarship that may include publications, grants, clinical practice quality improvement projects, and/or clinical practice guidelines. Faculty appointment for this position will be made at the Assistant or Associate Professor level on Track II (a non-tenure earning practice/clinical track), depending on the candidate's qualifications. The candidate is required to possess a doctoral degree at the time of application submission.
