JD: Title- Project Manager Location- Houston TX Remote- NO Candidate should have Lot of integration experience Good to have the Utility experience Senior Project Manager with expertise in Data Migration and System Integration to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data migration processes and be adept in systems integration within the Retail Electricity or Natural Gas markets, specifically in deregulated markets like ERCOT and PJM. The candidate will also have a deep understanding of how Independent System Operators (ISOs), Utilities, and Retail Electric Providers (REPs) work. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage data migration and system integration projects from inception to completion. Develop and execute project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and deliverables. Oversee data conversion and migration strategy, ensuring data integrity, quality, and consistency throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business analysts, and external vendors, to ensure successful delivery of project objectives. Utilize knowledge of Retail Electricity or Natural Gas markets in deregulated environments to inform project strategy and execution. Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution and communication with stakeholders. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards in data handling and system integration processes. Provide regular project updates, status reports, and detailed documentation for senior management and stakeholders. Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment, mentoring and guiding team members as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with a focus on data migration and system integration projects. Proven experience in Retail Electricity or Natural Gas markets, specifically in deregulated environments such as ERCOT and PJM markets. Strong understanding of data migration methodologies, tools, and best practices. Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello). Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. PMP or other relevant project management certification is preferred. Additional Preferred Skills: Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and SAAS solutions and On Prem solution Deep knowledge of how Independent System Operators (ISOs), Utilities, and Retail Electric Providers (REPs) operate and interact in deregulated markets. Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements in the energy sector. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Strong business acumen and the ability to align project objectives with business goals.
