Senior Buyer Logistics Capex Job Responsibilities The Senior Buyer Logistics Capex job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Develop and lead the sourcing strategy and procurement process for logistics-related capital equipment Manage end-to-end RFQ (Request for Quotation) activities, including bid package development, supplier evaluations, cost analysis, and award recommendations Negotiate commercial terms, long-term agreements, service contracts, warranties, and cost-reduction opportunities with global suppliers Analyze total cost of ownership (TCO), cost breakdowns, and supplier proposals to support business case development Partner with internal stakeholders to define technical requirements, timelines, and project budgets Oversee supplier performance, contract compliance, delivery schedules, and risk mitigation for assigned Capex projects Ensure adherence to internal purchasing policies, financial controls, Capex approval processes, and compliance guidelines Track project milestones, report status to leadership, and support phase-gate and launch readiness activities Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure innovation, cost competitiveness, and reliable delivery
