Marina Operations Specialist The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. They should be comfortable handling both administrative tasks and hands-on marina operations, while providing outstanding service to guests. Job duties include, although are not limited to: Greet guests and provide excellent customer service Process a variety of marina operations applications and forms; type reports, letters, and other communications; answer telephone; send/receive emails; maintain files; manage vendor invoices; and maintain daily logs. Prepare and execute various slip rental agreements. Book fishing & catamaran charters for our guests. Meet and greet with guests directly; respond to inquiries by providing factual and policy information, either in person or by telephone. Record monthly charges for all of our long-term guests. Professionally operate and monitor VHF radio equipment; use proper boat terminology Perform all other duties as assigned; covering other marina positions lunch breaks (assisting docking vessels, help bring provisions to boats, golf cart assistance to transport guests, etc.) Maintain Marina Office Cleanliness Reports to Marina Dockmaster Has regular contact with Marina associates, guests, and hotel associates Qualifications: Front Desk experience preferred Education/Experience Requirements: Must have ability to communicate in English effectively Microsoft Office proficient Physical Requirements: Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
