Dawn's Market Sales Representative II (MSR II) position is responsible for developing customer relationships and delivering mutually profitable sales activity within the defined territory. This is an exciting customer-facing role that is expected to provide exceptional service, product knowledge, and customer satisfaction. Successful MSRs achieve results through developing and maintaining consultative partnerships and effectively addressing bakery customer needs by identifying profitable opportunities with existing customers and successfully prospecting new accounts. Dawn's MSRs are outside sales representatives responsible for managing a territory that is directly associated with a distribution center and a greater commercial region. Within their territory, they are focused on promoting Dawn's products, services, online ordering capabilities, and expanded portfolio of bakery solutions. Market Sales Representative II's are responsible for planning and implementing sales and service for customers across accounts. They report directly to a Market Sales Manager (MSM) and are compensated within the parameters of a competitive salary-plus-commission plan. This is a remote position with consistent field-travel supporting the San Antonio, TX market, covering approximately a 150-mile span. To be considered, candidates must reside in San Antonio, TX, or the surrounding areas to effectively support customers. Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Below are the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job. A High School Diploma or a General Education Degree (GED) is required A minimum of 5 years of professional experience working in outside customer-facing sales, and building a portfolio of customers Successful consultative sales experiences within B2B foodservice or similar distribution models Working knowledge or experience with bakery products, ingredients, raw materials, baking supplies, bakery operations, or similar Demonstrative ability to navigate multiple software applications, user interfaces, and digital technologies. Working knowledge or experience with digital CRM solutions (i.e., Salesforce) Motivated self-starter able to work autonomously with limited supervision. Prior experience performing within a commissioned and/or performance-driven pay structure. Able to effectively communicate and collaborate with colleagues and customers. Able to engage others while maintaining a personable, consultative approach for superior customer service. Able to read, write, verbally communicate, and comprehend the English language. Able to effectively manage time within a schedule of competing priorities and tasks. Able to understand and calculate sales and margins. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint Motivated by results, execution, and a "finish line focus." Proficient Spanish-speaking and comprehension skills are required to support day-to-day business communication Preferences: Undergraduate degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, and/or Culinary Arts Enhanced knowledge of and/or hands-on experiences within bakery operations The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
