Pharmacy Technician – Prescription Fulfillment Location: Mansfield, MA 02048 Pay: $18.50/hour Available Schedules: 5 days/week, 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM | Off Saturday & Tuesday OR 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM | Off Saturday & Wednesday Temp-to-hire position, potential to convert to a permanent employee based on business needs. Job Summary A-Line Staffing is seeking licensed Pharmacy Technicians to support prescription fulfillment operations in a high-volume pharmacy environment. This role focuses on prescription data entry, medication preparation, quality control, and collaboration with pharmacists while following strict HIPAA, safety, and accuracy standards. This is a contract role with the potential to convert to a permanent position. What You’ll Be Doing In this role, you’ll process new patient registrations and prescription requests using established prescription data entry procedures and guidelines. You’ll enter and troubleshoot prescription information, interpret medical abbreviations (SIG codes), and resolve data entry exceptions. You’ll also resolve third-party insurance rejects by reviewing plan requirements, correcting information, and resubmitting claims. Your work will include operating automated machinery, sorting medications, transitioning inventory through workflow stages, and maintaining a strong focus on quality control. You’ll count and fill prescriptions, apply labels, package and ship medications, and help maintain a clean, organized work area and equipment. Throughout the day, you’ll assist pharmacists both onsite and at other locations, escalating issues to senior staff when appropriate. Required Qualifications Active MA Pharmacy Technician License High School Diploma or GED 0–2 years of pharmacy technician experience preferred, not required Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English Basic PC skills (computer startup/shutdown, mouse use, navigating programs, saving/printing documents) Basic internet and search engine skills Intermediate keyboarding skills Physical & Work Requirements Willing and able to push, pull, grasp, and lift with or without reasonable accommodation Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation Comfortable working a flexible evening shift Ability to work in a production-focused pharmacy environment If you are interested in this position and want to learn more, feel free to reach out to Chris with A-Line Staffing at or apply to this posting!
