This is an on-site position inAustin, Texas or Hopkinton, Massachusetts(relocation available).What you’ll achieve As aSenior Principal Data Security Software Engineer,you will be responsible for developing common security related software that will be integrated into Dell’s server and storage products.You will: Contribute to the design and architecture of new or re-engineered cryptography security-related software/servicesImplement modern encryption / decryption algorithms, crypto key management system and work on the Post Quantum Computing (PQC) model integrationDirectly collaborate with best-in-class storage solution engineers at Dell TechnologiesBuild and review design, functional, technical and user documentation; develop, review and implement test strategies for software products and systemsTake the first step towards your dream career Every Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Here’s what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements12+ years experience (or equivalent skill) coding protocols and low-level systems in CSignificant experience with cryptography security-related software/servicesStrong knowledge of Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS), Post Quantum Cryptography (PQC), Commercial National Security Algorithm (CNSA) Suite 2.0 and CNSS Policy 15Understanding of Transport Layer Security (TLS) and Key Management/Data At Rest Encryption (DARE)Excellent collaboration and leadership skills and readiness to work with international development teamsCompensation Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
