We are seeking an Administrative Specialist position at the NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC) in Houston, TX. What You'll Do: In this role, you will provide critical administrative support to the teams implementing on-orbit human research aboard the International Space Station (ISS) and within ground-based analogs. This role is part of the Research Operations and Integration (ROI) element of the Human Research Program (HRP) in the Operations Department of the Human Health and Performance Contract 2 (HHPC2) supporting NASA's Space Medicine Operations Division (SD). Your tasks will include: Processing and filing remuneration and travel documentation for participants in flight analog missions, including Crew Health and Performance Exploration Analog (CHAPEA), Mars Exploration Analog (MEA), and the JSC Chamber Coordinating and posting experiment and mission schedules Coordinating updates for development of and to documented quality processes Setting up SharePoint based pre-coordination sites for collaborative document creation and review (SharePoint experience or training in SharePoint preferred) Assisting with project closeout and action-item follow-up and document archive Providing backup support for Configuration Management (CM) administrative tasks Supporting Concurrence Change Requests (CR), including assisting initiators with setup and reminders for required inputs What You Bring: You bring a strong foundation of administrative support experience and organizational skills to help the team implement human research across the task order. You comply with KBR's Safety, Health and Environmental Plan, Quality Plan, and all safety policies and procedures, and complete all assigned training. Your Qualifications: High school graduate or its equivalent and a minimum of 5 years experience in the field or related field. Must be at least 18 years old and demonstrate a professional attitude when interacting with others. Your Skills: Demonstrated communication skills. Microsoft Office proficiency Must reside in a HUBZone Desired: Previous experience working with NASA teams or mission environment. Proficiency in SharePoint Proficiency with MSProject What to Expect: This position is expected to be 100% on site and in person during training. This position is subject to the Service Contract Act ("SCA") and your pay and benefits comply with the Area-Wide Wage Determination ("AWD") applicable to the contract. This position will pay no less than the amount included in the AWD for the corresponding labor category. Additionally, this position will be eligible to receive the Health and Welfare Benefit included in the AWD, less the cost of certain benefits, including retirement.
