Computer Operator and Support

Computer Operator And Support APS Medical Billing, located in Toledo, OH, is looking for a motivated individual to join our IT team as a Computer Support Operator. This role is responsible for monitoring and ensuring correct operations of the iSeries computing systems and various network-based business applications. This individual also serves in the role of resolution coordinator. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Monitors performance of servers, hosts systems and network components for proper functions and availability to users Utilizes monitoring tools to review system console messages, event logs, email alerts, etc. Follows up on issues with the application development staff Responds to error conditions on monitored systems and servers by entering message responses or operating system commands or performing other actions such as mounting storage media, etc. Performs other duties as assigned Qualification Requirements Associate's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of training and experience Basic working knowledge of multiple computer systems operations iSeries (AS/400) and Microsoft Windows-based PCs and servers Proven, well-developed Analytical and Organizational Skills Effective Business Communicator (Written & Verbal) Benefits Package includes Paid Time Off Medical plan Health Savings Account Alight Personal Health Care Advisor Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401K Paid holidays EAP - Employee Assistance Program We are an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to a diverse workforce.
