Hospitalist/Nocturnist opening in MNLocation: Detroit Lakes, MN45m to Fargo, NDFull-time, permanent positionPractice Details: - Full-time hospitalist/nocturnist position with a seven-on, seven-off schedule covering both day and night shifts with flexible rotation. - Provide comprehensive medical care, manage acute medical conditions, coordinate with specialists, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team in our community hospital setting. - Practice in a 36-bed Level III Trauma Center and a top 20 community hospital. - Coverage primarily in the ICU and medical-surgical units. - Average of 16 patient encounters per day shift, with support from an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) partner. - Six physician partners practicing locally allow scheduling flexibility. - Ideal candidates possess Internal Medicine, Hospitalist Residency, or Family Medicine with Hospitalist experience. - Competitive compensation package including paid malpractice insurance.Requirements: - Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.Location Details: - Detroit Lakes is situated 45 miles east of Fargo, ND, and 200 miles northwest of Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN. - Population of Detroit Lakes: 9,795 with a regional service area of 40,000. - Centrally located in the heart of the Lakes area on beautiful Detroit Lake. - Excellent school system and abundant family outdoor activities year-round.
