Technical Recruiter (Contract) Location: Galleria Area Houston, TX (Post Oak Blvd.) Duration: 612 Months (Contract / Temp Only) Schedule: Full?Time In?Office Only Hours: 8:005:00, 8:305:30, or 9:006:00 (some flexibility) Parking: Fully Validated Compensation: $50$55 per hour Reports To: Director of Human Resources To qualify for this TEMPORARY/CONTRACT position, you MUST have 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience including at least 4 years recruiting technical roles within fast?paced, high?growth, or engineering?driven environments. Position Overview The Technical Recruiter will lead full?cycle recruiting efforts for highly technical and operational roles across engineering, manufacturing, energy, digital infrastructure, and corporate IT. This role serves as a strategic partner to hiring managers and business leaders shaping recruitment strategies that support growth in fast?moving, innovation?driven industries. Key Responsibilities Recruiting & Talent Acquisition Partner with hiring managers to define staffing needs, position requirements, and business objectives. Develop and execute tailored recruiting strategies for multiple business units across Energy, Data Centers, IT, and Manufacturing. Proactively source top talent using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, social platforms, referrals, networking, and industry events. Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate technical assessments. Perform behavioral and technical screens to evaluate qualifications and fit. Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and technical teams to ensure a seamless hiring process. Serve as primary candidate point of contact throughout the hiring lifecycle. Candidate & Hiring Manager Experience Provide consistent communication and status updates to candidates and stakeholders. Advise hiring managers using market insights, salary benchmarking, and recruiting best practices. Guide managers on drafting and updating job descriptions. Maintain high standards of candidate experience from application to onboarding. Process & Data Management Manage full?cycle recruiting: job posting, outreach, screening, interviews, offer negotiation, and onboarding partnership. Maintain accurate ATS records and ensure compliance with internal hiring policies and employment regulations. Build and sustain a strong pipeline of engineering and technical professionals. Track and analyze recruiting metrics, delivering regular reporting to leadership. Support non?technical recruiting and HR initiatives as needed. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent experience. 7+ years of full?cycle recruitment experience. At least 4 years recruiting technical roles within fast?paced, high?growth, or engineering?driven environments. Demonstrated success sourcing engineers and highly specialized technical talent for competitive markets. Strong grasp of complex engineering disciplines: mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, chemical, controls, or related. Proficiency with ATS platforms and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, etc.). Excellent communication, relationship?building, and organizational skills. Ability to juggle multiple requisitions and quickly adapt to shifting priorities. Solid understanding of employment laws, compliance, and recruiting best practices. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with data center infrastructure, networking, and certifications (e.g., CCNA, AWS, ISO). Experience negotiating multi?component or complex compensation packages. Knowledge of behavioral interviewing methodologies. HR or recruiting certifications (SHRM?CP, AIRS, LinkedIn Certified Professional, etc.).
