Now is your chance to join the Team and Raise The Bar!Job DescriptionThe Divisional Leader of Marketing (DLM) is a company and department leadership role responsible for the development of marketing strategies and activation plans. The DLM oversees multiple Regional Leaders of Marketing. The DLM will be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of marketing strategies, tactics, and programs and provides feedback to cross-functional leaders to influence the evolution of programs.Must live in or relocate to marketYour Impact and Responsibilities:Develops and executes plans at the restaurant, market, regional, and divisional level in alignment to brand standards and designed to achieve the field-based support teams goalsPartners with the Director of Media Planning to ensure the correct strategy is deployed in each DMA, the restaurant marketing team is engaged, and provides market insightsCollaborates with leaders from the field-based support team and FP&A to analyze sales and customer traffic to keep management and leaders informed of trends, underperforming restaurants, incremental spend requests, etc.Develops and maintains a detailed marketing budget that outlines all costs affecting the restaurant level marketing spendCollaborates with the recruiting department to source, select and hire high caliber crewmembers that properly balance the companys growth plans, opportunities, and resourcesBuilds a world class restaurant marketing team and hires, trains, and provides hip to hip coaching to reinforce Canes brand and marketing philosophiesAligns with Divisional Leader of Restaurants on priorities, business needs, and goalsSpends time in markets and restaurants to actively participate in daily discussions on restaurant performance, execution of marketing philosophies, and development of plansManages program effectiveness by ensuring alignment to ROI methodologies, consistent execution, and follow ups from the restaurant marketing teamEvaluates sponsorship opportunities and manages regional sponsorships and budgets to ensure proper management, execution, and maximization of all sponsorshipsCollaborates with the RSO Marketing team to implement systems, campaigns, and programsDrives sustainable growth efforts and awareness of consideration for Raising CanesLeverages customer insights to develop effective restaurant marketing plansIdentifies opportunities to drive traffic and brand awareness through grass roots marketing effortsOversees the planning and execution of community partnershipsQualifications10+ years of marketing experience requiredExperience leading high functional teams with multiple direct reports - remote crewmember leadership experience preferredField marketing experience in a multi-unit restaurant /retail environment (trade area based marketing planning & execution)Knowledge and experience working with media and sponsorships including establishing new & maintaining relationships, negotiating contracts, implementing assets, and assessing impactExperience with new restaurant openings and new market entry strategy development and implementationDetail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changingSelf-driven, flexible, and highly energetic with strong written and verbal communication skillsAble to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaborativelyMicrosoft Proficient: Excel, PowerPoint, and WordAble to travel up to 70% within designated areaBachelors degree required - Marketing & Communications degree preferredPossess a valid drivers licenseAdditional InformationThe physical work environment includes working in a fast-paced kitchen environment (which requires extended periods of physical exertion, such as walking, standing, lifting and bending) and interacting with customers.
