Bilingual Accounting Clerk

Now Hiring: Account Clerk (Cash) Visalia, Ca Hire Up Staffing is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented account clerk for a full-time opportunity in visalia. This position offers an immediate start and does not require a client interview candidates will complete an interview with a hire up recruiter and resume review only. This is a great opportunity for someone with accounting support experience who is ready to commit long-term. Candidates must be able to work full-time and maintain perfect attendance during the first 90 days. Position summary: responsible for processing accurate and timely financial documents and assisting with monthly financial reporting. Key responsibilities: Prepare and process purchase orders, invoices, contracts, reimbursements, leases, and utilities for payment Enter financial data into internal systems (contracts, purchase orders, stipends, mileage, etc.) Assist with gathering documentation for audits or internal reviews Run monthly fund balance reports Maintain accounts payable and contract filing systems Support subsidiary ledger maintenance Prepare journal entries related to building and payroll allocations Assist vendors and staff with questions Draft general correspondence Post accounts receivable to automated systems Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required Associate's degree in a related field or minimum 2 years of directly related accounting experience Strong ten-key and data entry skills Experience using spreadsheets and word processing programs Bilingual english/spanish required Ability to perform basic algebra and financial calculations Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability Work environment & physical requirements: Indoor office environment Prolonged sitting and computer use Occasional standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 15 pounds Possible attendance at meetings or off-site training Employment details: this is a full-time, at-will position. Immediate availability is required. Candidates must be able to work their scheduled hours consistently with no absences during the first 90 days.
