Doctor of Medicine | Oncology - General/Other Location: Cambridge, MN Employer: VieMed Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days - 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Join Our Team as a Hematology/Oncology Physician Are you a dedicated Hematology/Oncology specialist seeking a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in outpatient cancer care? We are currently looking for a highly skilled Hematology/Oncology Physician to join a dynamic team dedicated to excellence in patient outcomes. This role offers the chance to work in a thriving hospital environment with full support, competitive compensation, and the opportunity for permanency. Responsibilities include providing outpatient medical oncology and hematology services, supporting a robust clinical team, and delivering comprehensive patient care using Epic EMR in a facility with 590 beds. The position requires a focus on solids coverage, and the successful candidate will work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Required Skills and Qualifications: Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology (Medical Oncology/Hematology) Valid Minnesota medical license or IMLC certification accepted DEA registration Current BLS certification Ability to support both outpatient management and solids coverage in a hospital setting Strong clinical skills and familiarity with Epic EMR Nice to Have Skills: Prior experience in outpatient oncology clinics Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and APP support staff Knowledge of hospital operations and inpatient/outpatient care coordination Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution Minimum of 2 years of post-residency experience in hematology/oncology Proven track record in outpatient cancer care Other Requirements: Willingness to start ASAP Commitment to a 6-month contract with potential extensions Credentialing timeframe of approximately 90 days with license, up to 120 days if license needs to be obtained Travel and certification reimbursements where applicable This is an exceptional opportunity to join a committed team in a meaningful role that blends clinical excellence with career growth.
