Job Description The APN schedule is: Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5:00 PM (Subject to change to collaborate with provider) Locations: Both Wayneand Totowaoffices throughout the week: 220 Hamburg Tpke, Suite 3, Wayne NJ 07470 225 Minnisink Rd, 3rd Floor, Totowa NJ 07512 Interested candidates should have some pulmonology, critical care or similar specialty experience. Responsible for overseeing the care of a defined patient population as a dominant aspect of the role and is recognized as an interdisciplinary leader within his/her specialty. Responsible for enacting standards of practice and standards of professional performance, consistently demonstrates the core competencies of advanced practice nursing as well as defined specially competencies. Qualifications REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Manager/Director/Collaborating Physician of assigned unit. WORKING CONDITIONS: • Works with equipment or performs procedures where carelessness would probably result in minor cuts, bruises or muscle pulls. • Work requires exposure to blood and various body fluids which requires caution and use of established safety guidelines and equipment. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Lifting objects weighting more than 100 pounds. • Standing for more than two hours at a time. • Stooping or bending • Manual dexterity - reach and grasp objects • Color vision - the ability to identify and distinguish colors • Ability to hear and communicate orally • Proofreading and checking documents for accuracy • Using a keyboard to enter and transform words or data St. Joseph's Health operates as a 501(c)(3) organization with non-profit status.
