CNC Lathe Machinist

Job Description Precision Staffing is seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist with a strong job shop background and at least 2-3 years of relevant experience. Shift Options: First Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday Second Shift: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM, Monday - Friday Both shifts offer flexible start and end times based on work area Key Responsibilities for CNC Machinist: Expertly set up, operate, and maintain CNC lathe machinery. Conduct First Article Inspections to verify adherence to blueprint dimensions and tolerances. Utilize personal tools and inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, fixed gauges) for precision work. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times. Perform regular and periodic maintenance on equipment. Follow and enforce all safety protocols and company procedures. Qualifications for CNC Machinist: 2-3 years of CNC Lathe machining experience in a job shop environment. Must perform own part and tool setups; no machine operators, please. Proficiency with personal tools and inspection equipment. Ability to work both independently and as a team member, using strong judgment and machining expertise. Equipment Knowledge Preferred for CNC Machinist: Experience with the following is a plus: Lathes: Mazak Lathe models (QTN-100, QTN-250, QTN-350, QTN-450) with controls: 640T Nexus, Matrix 2, Smooth EZ Doosan V420T Lathe: Fanuc 18T controls Manual Lathes Apply Today!Meet Your RecruiterNicole Hetzer
