Position Summary The facility is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Cardiologist to join its growing and well-established cardiology team in New Haven, CT. This full-time, permanent position offers an opportunity to provide a mix of inpatient and outpatient cardiac care within a collegial, multidisciplinary setting. The incoming physician will work alongside a highly skilled group of cardiologists, electrophysiologists, and advanced practice providers committed to delivering comprehensive, evidence-based cardiac care. Essential Position Responsibilities Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients with cardiovascular conditions. Interpret and oversee diagnostic testing, including ECGs, stress tests, echocardiograms, and cardiac imaging. Participate in inpatient consultations, rounds, and outpatient clinic visits. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary cardiac care team to ensure continuity and quality of patient care. Educate patients and families about cardiovascular disease prevention, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR). Engage in departmental meetings, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives. QualificationsEducation: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution. Licensure & Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology; eligible for Connecticut medical licensure. Experience: Prior clinical cardiology experience preferred; newly trained fellows are welcome to apply. Skills: Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach to care.
