Job Title: SMT Operator Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking SMT Operators to join our team in Greater Portland. In this role, you will be responsible for operating SMT Machines for the production of PCBs. While training will be provided for the right candidate, prior experience or familiarity with electronics is preferred. This position requires intense attention to detail and involves standing for the majority of the shift, with some bending, twisting, and loading of parts.Responsibilities Operate SMT machines for PCB production. Maintain high attention to detail during operations. Stand for extended periods during the shift. Perform bending, twisting, and loading of parts as necessary. Follow detailed instructions precisely. Essential Skills 1+ years of manufacturing or equivalent experience. Ability to work in an ITAR facility. Strong attention to detail. Critical thinking skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Interest or experience in electronics is preferred. Familiarity with assembly, production, machine operation, surface mount, soldering, and electronics. Work is performed in a temperature-controlled facility with a requirement to wear a smock to eliminate static. The environment is a large, open warehouse that is clean and dust-free, featuring numerous storage racks.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Portland, ME.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
