Facilities Maintenance Technician (Pharmaceuticals)

Pay Rate Low: 35.00 | Pay Rate High: 40.00 Facilities Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift (Permanent Hire) Position Summary: We are seeking a Facilities Technician to support facility and equipment maintenance in a GMP-regulated biotechnology manufacturing environment. The role includes maintaining building utilities (HVAC, boilers, chillers, air compressors, cold storage) and supporting critical process equipment (bioreactors, shakers, centrifuges, pumps) to ensure compliance, reliability, and uptime. Location: Piscataway, NJ Schedule: 3rd Shift: M-F 11:30 PM - 7:30 AM ( Must be flexible to work rotating weekends) Perm Hire with Benefits Key Responsibilities: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility systems and utilities Monitor environmental control systems supporting GMP production areas Conduct maintenance and calibration checks on lab/process equipment Troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime Support installation, commissioning, and qualification of new equipment Maintain accurate GMP documentation (SOPs, calibrations, work orders) Work with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering Participate in after-hours/on-call support as neededQualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required 2+ years maintenance experience in a GMP biotech, biopharma, or pharma environment Hands-on experience with HVAC, chillers, boilers, and cold storage This job description is a complete list of all desired skills but not all are required.
