OverviewReporting directly to the President of the Sharp Home Appliance Division, the Executive Communications Assistant provides administrative and communications support to the President and key executives within the SEMCA division. In addition, this position will assist with internal and external communications initiatives, including social media coordination and public-facing materials.ResponsibilitiesExecutive and Team Support Provide day-to-day administrative support to the President and senior leadership, including calendar coordination, meeting scheduling, and follow-up on action items. Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including itinerary preparation and logistics management. Prepare and submit T&E reports through the electronic expense reporting system, ensuring accuracy and timely processing. Handle incoming calls, correspondence, and customer inquiries directed to the President, coordinating internally to ensure timely resolution and follow-up. Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive personnel and business information. Assist with the preparation and formatting of presentations, reports, and spreadsheets for executive meetings. Communications and Social Media Support Assist in drafting and editing internal communications, executive messaging, announcements, and presentation materials. Support public relations initiatives, including coordinating materials and responses as directed. Manage and maintain company and executive social media profiles, including content scheduling, post coordination, basic analytics tracking, and ensuring brand alignment across platforms. Monitor social media channels for engagement opportunities and flag relevant trends, comments, or inquiries to leadership. Department and Office Operations Perform general administrative functions for the department, including office coordination and supply management. Order and track department office supplies and maintain inventory. Maintain and update department documentation, including executive biographies and organizational charts to reflect current reporting structures. Meetings, Events, and Trade Shows Coordinate logistics for internal meetings and sales meetings, including scheduling, room reservations, A/V setup, and catering arrangements. Support executive hosting events and team dinners, ensuring professional execution and attention to detail. Assist with trade show planning and on-site support as needed, including reception coordination and logistical preparation for events such as CES and KBIS. People and Onboarding Support Assist with onboarding activities for new SEMCA employees, including scheduling introductory meetings, coordinating materials, and facilitating access setup. Serve as an administrative resource for team members by helping direct them to appropriate contacts and internal processes. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. 1 to 3 years of professional experience in an administrative, communications, marketing, or related support role. Internship experience may be considered. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams). Experience managing or supporting social media accounts in a professional or academic capacity. Familiarity with basic analytics tools and content scheduling platforms preferred. Exposure to SAP or other ERP systems is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Professional presence with the ability to interact confidently with internal and external stakeholders. Highly organized, proactive, and capable of working independently with appropriate guidance. Learn more at .Compensation for this positionThe compensation range for this role is $60,000- $70,000. The listed salary range or contractual rate excludes bonuses, incentives, differential pay, and any other forms of compensation or benefits. The starting salary will be determined by several variables, including but not limited to experience, education, training, certification, and location.
