This role ensures that materials move seamlessly between receiving, storage, production, and shipping, helping the warehouse operate efficiently and reliably while meeting daily operational targets. You support our team as: Warehouse SupervisorReporting to: Location Vice President Work Location: In person (Gainesville, GA) Responsibilities Supervise warehouse personnel and daily warehouse activities including receiving, material handling, storage, and shipping. Supervise off-site warehouse operations and coordinate restocking orders as required. Monitor warehouse performance targets including inventory accuracy, on-time shipments, safety compliance, and housekeeping standards. Maintain warehouse organization, stock location accuracy, and adherence to FIFO material flow practices. Ensure materials move seamlessly and cost-effectively between receiving, storage, production, and shipping operations. Receive all direct and indirect materials physically and process transactions in SAP, including generating required labels and documentation. Ensure outgoing shipment documentation including Bills of Lading and delivery notes are properly processed and recorded in SAP. Coordinate material movement between warehouse and production areas to support upcoming production schedules. Maintain appropriate stock levels of packaging materials and coordinate reorders as needed. Support inventory control processes including cycle counts, reconciliations, and annual physical inventory. Support the implementation of warehouse process improvements, scanning systems, and operational changes led by logistics leadership. Manage forklift fleet maintenance, including inspection check sheets, maintenance logs, and coordination of repairs. Implement preventative maintenance programs for all lifts and ensure safe forklift operation. Maintain and manage dock plates, doors, and loading areas to ensure safe and efficient shipping operations. Serve as a primary point of contact with freight carriers for inbound and outbound shipment coordination. Support approval of freight bills and assign freight costs to the appropriate cost centers. Communicate daily operational updates and coordinate shipping activities with LGCs and MFMs. Assist with documentation and compliance related to internal audits and quality standards, including IATF 16949. Train warehouse team members and assist with complex operational tasks as needed. Ensure adherence to Internal Quality Issues procedures (IQI). Enforce company safety policies, FIFO standards, and housekeeping (5S) practices. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Perform other duties as assigned. Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree or technical training in logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing is a plus. 3-7 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations in a manufacturing environment, automotive preferred. Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred. Skills & Knowledge Experience working with ERP/MRP or warehouse management systems (SAP preferred). Shipping and transportation experience; forklift experience strongly preferred. Familiarity with forklift maintenance tracking and inspection processes. Strong understanding of inventory control, FIFO practices, and warehouse organization. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills. Problem-solving mindset with basic technical aptitude. Strong reliability, attendance, and punctuality.
