Quality Architect

Job Title: Quality Architect Location: Parsippany, NJ Experience: 10+ years Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Quality Architect with 10+ years of experience in software automation testing, test framework development, and CI/CD integration. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in test automation tools, scripting languages, and cloud-based testing environments. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute automation test frameworks from scratch. Perform smoke, integration, regression, functional, performance, exploratory, end-to-end (E2E), and UAT testing. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, WebDriverIO, and Puppeteer. Conduct API testing using Postman, Artillery, and Playwright. Write automation scripts in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Java. Implement test strategies and frameworks using Pytest, TestNG, Cucumber, Mocha, and Codecept. Perform database validation using SQL, PostgreSQL, and MySQL. Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodeBuild, and GitLab. Utilize project tracking tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Rally, HP ALM/Quality Center, and Octane. Identify, document, and track defects while ensuring their resolution. Work closely with developers and product teams to improve automation coverage. Required Skills & Qualifications: 10+ years of Quality Engineering / Software Testing experience. Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall methodologies. Proficiency in writing and executing test plans, test cases, test procedures, and test scripts. Hands-on experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, WebDriverIO, and Puppeteer. Strong scripting skills in Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Java. Experience working with Postman, Artillery, and Playwright for API testing. Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodeBuild, and GitLab. Strong experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.). Knowledge of cloud testing, microservices architecture, and infrastructure automation.
