Note: Flexible Start Date - please message us for more details. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough interviews and physical examinations to diagnose movement difficulties in pediatric patients. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address specific needs, considering age, developmental stage, and health conditions. Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to improve motor development, strength, range of motion, endurance, balance, coordination, gait difficulties, heart and lung endurance, and delayed motor development. Regularly assess progress, monitor treatment outcomes, and modify plans as needed. Incorporate play-based approaches to engage children and facilitate learning in a fun and interactive manner. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care. Provide expert consultation and education to parents and caregivers. Develop, report, and present performance measures to team lead on a recurring basis. Commit to ongoing learning and professional development in the field of pediatric physical therapy. Qualifications: Master's or Doctorate of Physical Therapy, specializing in pediatric physical therapy. Experience in performing full physical therapy evaluations and creating learner-centered plans of care. Ability to create home exercise programs along with learner education. Highly Recommended: Afternoon/Evening hours availability. Familiarity with electronic documentation. Experience with various pediatric diagnoses (e.g., autism spectrum disorder, toe walking, gross motor delay, torticollis). Experience with interdisciplinary communication (occupational therapy, speech therapy, behavioral therapy).
