Physical Therapist

Requirement: home health experience, valid PT license, Epic experience preferred; support our Morris County region Schedule: 8-4 pm (Monday-Friday) no weekend shift required Description The ideal candidate will have experience in working in a large acute care facility and be a team player who will provide exceptional care to our patients. Principal Accountabilities: Essential functions include patient evaluation, establishing plans of care and treatment programs, providing interventions, providing patient and family education, documenting interventions, and billing appropriately. Supports Lead Clinicians in competency development and implementation. Participates in the orientation of new staff members, serves as a clinical instructor for students, exercises independent judgement of moderately complex cases and with minimal to no supervision. Preferred: 1. Experience in Acute Care in large academic medical setting. 2. Preference given to candidates that have completed a successful clinical affiliation with Atlantic Health. 3. Preference given to candidates with Board Certification as Specialist in an area suitable for care in an acute care setting. Education 1. New Jersey License to practice Physical Therapy. 2. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy academic program 3. 0-4 years of experience as a Physical Therapist is strongly preferred Certifications & Licenses New Jersey License to practice Physical Therapy
