NICU

Clinicians are only eligible to work at one RWJ site so please only submit to the site they are 100% committed to working 4 shifts per month at. Once submitted and approved they are tied to a rec ID for that location. Please note these rec IDs take time to get approved and assigned to clinicians so switching locations will not be permitted. NICU RNs are needed at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center!RWJ Facility Requirements: - Minimum of 1.5 years of recent NICU experience - Active RN License - Current AHA BLS, PALS, NRP - Required to float to Peds and PICU if needed - Required Experience with vents/intubated patients, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, Ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP) - Preferred experience with central experience - 2 clinical leadership references from assignments within the last 2 years, at least one leadership reference must be a manager, director, supervisor, or lead. Charge nurse will not be accepted. Must be dedicated to getting into the lab and completing compliance asap Shift Details: - Shift Times: 1900-0730 Orientation Details: 1 day computer training at home, 2nd day on-unit @ 7a Additional Details: - Charting system: Epic - Scrubs color: Navy Blue - 1-year separation for previous staff - Parking is free in any unrestricted space. Security is not stationed in the garage but is directly next to the entrance. Garage is monitored via camera by security - Clinicians can only pick up 2 shifts per week, maximum - Please be aware that sub review turnaround time could take 1-2 weeks! - Cancellation Policy: 3 instances of last-minute shift cancellations (defined as within 24-48 hours of the scheduled shift), will be subject to review by the facility to be cancelled or a final warning.
