JOB SUMMARY: Perform quality control functions identifying and correcting errors processed by NCL, OCI, and SSC Guest Air, Corporate Travel, Crew Agents, and automation to ensure error-free airline ticket production. Manage unused ticket lists, process refunds, and ADMs for all agency IATAs. Balance weekly IAR transactions to produce financial reporting for air cost ledgers. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Process the IAR (Interactive Airline Reporting) report weekly and all internal accounting items through the ARC website. Perform quality control functions running daily and weekly discrepancy reports to correct errors processed by NCL, OCI and SSC Air/Sea, Corporate & Crew Agents as well as automation to ensure error-free airline ticket production. Maintain the integrity of the data so that the weekly ARC reports are submitted, and the financial data is accurate. Research all ADMs posted in ARC by IATA (NCL Guest Air, Corporate Travel, Crew Travel, OCI Guest Air, and SSC Guest Air). Dispute and resolve all memos through Memo Manager in the ARC website. Make recommendations for payment as well as record payment for reconciliation purposes. Process all refunds from cancellation and unused reports from both internal and external sources. Process air ticket partial refunds, calculate and process through TravCom and TRAMS costs to be allocated back to each department. Research and respond to Ace Team and other departments in the Company e-mails concerning airline ticket claims and ticket refund status. Ensure interface is functional between the airline GDS (Global Distribution System) and TravCom/TRAMS for ticket production. Take timely corrective action with CRS and in-house IT personnel to resolve deficiencies. Run weekly credit card reconciliation reports and take timely corrective action with the airline(s) and/or credit card companies directly to resolve any discrepancies. Perform manual ticket exchanges as necessary. Build in TravCom and TRAMS additional airline costs not reported to ARC such as ticketless airline charges or credits not done through GDS for accurate end of month reporting. Perform other job-related functions as assigned. QUALIFICATIONSDEGREE TYPE: High School Diploma FIELD(S) OF STUDY: Associate's Degree preferred or any equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience. EXPERIENCE: Minimum 1 to 3 years' experience functioning in an accounting role, preferably at a full-service travel agency or tour operator. COMPETENCIES/SKILLS: Working knowledge of GDS and related air ticketing functionality. Familiarity with airline contract terms and conditions. General knowledge of TravCom and TRAMS back-office accounting systems. Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Detail orientation for identifying and correcting discrepancies. Interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members. Ability to work in a team environment.
