PACU Registered Nurse (RN) - 13 Week Contract | 3548763 Location: Plymouth, MA A hospital in Plymouth, MA is seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment. This role is ideal for nurses with strong post-anesthesia recovery experience who are comfortable managing immediate post-operative patients in a fast-paced surgical environment. Local and travel RNs are welcome to apply. Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia Monitor airway, hemodynamic stability, and post-operative recovery status Assess and manage pain, nausea, and post-surgical complications Administer IV medications and monitor sedation reversal as needed Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and surgical teams Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record Maintain patient safety and adhere to hospital recovery protocols Required Qualifications Active Massachusetts RN license required Minimum 2+ years of recent PACU experience required Prior acute care hospital experience required Strong airway management and post-anesthesia assessment skills Ability to manage high patient turnover and rapid recovery workflow Required Certifications BLS required ACLS required PALS required (if facility treats pediatric cases) Contract Details Assignment Length: 13 weeks Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (evenings) Employment Type: Contract (not permanent) Travel packages available for qualified candidates Why This Role Opportunity to work in a reputable hospital setting Fast-paced surgical recovery environment Competitive contract compensation
