Your recruiter will provide the most up-to-date details during the hiring process.How you'll make an impact in this role Design & Deliver Personalized Care: You will implement and lead tailored physical exercise programs, ensuring each session is safe, effective, and evidence-based. Clinical Assessment & Strategy: Using your expertise, you'll conduct comprehensive patient testing before and after rehabilitation. You won't just read data-you'll use it to plan, teach, and evolve therapy plans based on patient status and medication regimens. Expert Clinical Vigilance: You'll serve as the "eyes and ears" on the floor, identifying contraindications or abnormal responses. Your quick clinical judgment ensures patient safety, whether that means adjusting intensity or coordinating immediate medical referrals. Empower through Education: Beyond the gym floor, you'll be a subject matter expert, providing vital health education to patients, peers, and the broader community through public speaking and wellness classes. Operational Integrity: You'll ensure our clinical environment remains top-notch by overseeing equipment calibration, maintaining precise patient records, and managing scheduling. What minimum requirements you'll needLicensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Exercise Physiologist credentialed from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) preferred. Education: Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred. What additional preferences we're seeking Advanced Education: A Master's Degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology is highly preferred, as it provides the deep theoretical foundation our complex cases require. Specialized Experience: Proven expertise specifically within Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation is a significant plus, allowing you to hit the ground running with our specialized patient populations.
