CNC Operator – 2nd Shift (5% Shift Premium)Grow your machining career in a clean, modern, climate‑controlled facility.We’re hiring CNC Operators to run multiple CNC Mills while producing high‑precision parts for a supportive and team‑focused manufacturing company.What You’ll DoIn this role, you’ll operate CNC Milling machines and ensure accuracy, quality, and efficiency throughout each production cycle.Your responsibilities include: Operating multiple CNC Milling machines (Doosan, Haas, Kia models) Reading and interpreting blueprints to verify part specifications Using micrometers, gauges, and calipers for precision measurement Performing drilling, tapping, boring, and turning operations Loading/unloading materials and performing sanding or deburring as needed Making tool adjustments as part of your advancement path What You Bring Experience operating CNC Mills or Lathes Ability to read and understand blueprints Proficiency with micrometers, gauges, and calipers Great-to-Have Skills(Helpful but not required) Experience with Haas or Kia CNC machines Experience in general machining and part verification Why You’ll Love Working Here Friendly, supportive coworkers ready to help you succeed Medical benefits after 30 days ; full benefits after 90 days $0.50 pay increase when hired on directly Monthly employee appreciation events & holiday celebrations Paid time off that grows with tenure: 40 hours in year 1 80 hours in year 2 160 hours in year 3 Clear opportunities for advancement, including tool‑adjustment responsibilities Work Environment & Schedule Climate‑controlled, clean, and well-lit facility Modern shop with a large fleet of CNC Milling machines 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM–11:00 PM 5% shift premium Team sizes: Main building: ~24 on days, ~18 on 2nd shift West building: ~17–18 on days, ~4 on 2nd shift If you're seeking a stable CNC role with room to grow and a supportive team, we’d love to hear from you!Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockford, IL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
