Job Description At Atlas, we're providing services that enable communities to flourish and thrive, and if you're CMT Field Technician ready to conduct construction materials testing and field inspections while supporting project teams, then this is your moment. You'll perform on-site quality control tests on construction materials (such as concrete, soil, and asphalt) to verify compliance with project specifications. Core Responsibilities Performs construction-related field tests as directed by the Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Manager and Senior Engineer. Travels to various construction sites primarily throughout the Southeast Texas area with the potential for overnight and/or weekend as needed. Relays information to project manager and/or engineer, with limited in-field decision making. Transports equipment, test specimens and/or documents to field personnel, laboratory, clients or other offices, and provides physical assistance in equipment set-up. Enters daily field observation reports and summary reports electronically. Performs field quality control tests of in place concrete. Performs field density testing on soil, concrete, asphalt and other construction materials. Assists other technicians or professional staff on tasks and assists other departments as necessary. Follows Atlas' safety plans, programs, policies, and procedures. You'll thrive here if you have High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Construction Experience TXDOT or ACI certifications required Willing to learn and work any shift that is needed.
