Position Overview The Project Manager will provide building enclosure and waterproofing services to clients. You will lead team efforts on forensic investigations, behavior evaluations, condition assessments using non-destructive and destructive methods, and the development of waterproofing design. Working closely with cross-functional teams, clients, and senior leadership, the Senior Project Manager plays a critical role in supporting operational excellence, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to continuous improvement and business development efforts. ResponsibilitiesLead the full lifecycle of multiple concurrent projects. Perform building envelope assessments, including site investigations, field testing, forensic analysis and consulting services. Conduct specialized window testing (air, water, structural), blower door testing and other performance diagnostics to evaluate system integrity. Prepare detailed technical reports, design documents, and recommendations for remediation with emphasis on windows, curtain walls and façade systems. Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. Coordinate and communicate with clients, internal teams, subcontractors, and consultants to align objectives, manage expectations, and ensure project requirements are met. Monitor project progress and performance, tracking milestones, deliverables, and financials to identify variances and implement corrective actions as needed. Review architectural, structural plans and glazing plans for compliance with building envelope best practices, industry standards and window performance criteria. Conduct water infiltration testing, infrared thermography, air leakage testing, window performance testing and other diagnostics. Lead project meetings, facilitate decision-making, and maintain clear, organized documentation and reporting for internal and external stakeholders. Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, mentoring junior staff and promoting best practices in project execution and team collaboration. Support business development activities including proposal development, scope definition, and client presentations. Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing enhancements to project management processes, tools, and workflows. Other duties may be assigned QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline; OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. For non-degreed candidates: 7-10+ years of relevant industry experience. Certifications in relevant inspection or testing areas preferred. Strong knowledge of relevant industry standards (ASTM, AASHTO, etc.) and ability to interpret technical specifications. Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-specific platforms (e.g., project management, data reporting systems). Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills Willingness to travel to job sites and work in diverse environmental conditions Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and interface with clients and regulatory bodies effectively Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience with building envelope/building enclosure system Travel Requirements • This position requires occasional travel, approximately 10% to 20% of the time, to support business objectives and client engagements. Travel may be both scheduled and on short notice, depending on project needs. Destinations typically include job sites, field locations, or regional offices, where work may be conducted in outdoor or operational environments. Adherence to all company safety protocols and use of PPE is required during travel and on-site work. Physical Demands & Work EnvironmentThis position operates in a hybrid work environment, requiring flexibility to work effectively from both a professional office and work site setting. On-Site Office Requirements: Work is performed at a desk for extended periods using a computer, phone, and standard office equipment in a climate-controlled office environment. Regular in-person communication with team members, clients, and stakeholders is required. Physical demands may include sitting for long durations, occasional standing, walking, bending, and lifting of materials up to 15 pounds. Field Environment: Work at outdoor sites including wetlands, forests, grasslands, construction zones, and undeveloped land. Travel on foot across uneven, rugged, or obstructed terrain, sometimes in areas inaccessible by vehicle. Exposure to varying weather conditions including heat, cold, humidity, rain, or sun. Possible presence of insects, animals, or natural and man-made hazards in field environments. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry between 35-50 lbs. of equipment or samples over distances up to 75 feet. Ability to stand, walk, drive, and operate lab and field equipment for extended periods. Ability to bend, twist, reach, stoop, kneel, climb, and balance as needed during both lab and fieldwork. Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats in varied environments, often while wearing PPE.
