High School Diploma required; Associate's degree in Manufacturing or related field preferred. 1-3 years of supervisory or lead experience in metal fabrication or building product manufacturing. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and manufacturing best practices. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced industrial environment. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and support production teams to achieve daily output goals, maintain efficiency, and ensure on-time delivery. Oversee fabrication and assembly of hollow metal doors, frames, and related building products in compliance with industry standards. Enforce workplace safety policies and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe manufacturing environment. Monitor production schedules, workflow, and equipment utilization to eliminate bottlenecks and improve productivity. Train, coach, and mentor employees on manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety procedures. Conduct routine inspections of machinery, tools, and production equipment to ensure operational readiness. Ensure compliance with SDI, DHI, NAAMM-HMMA, and CSI standards while maintaining required certifications. Partner with quality control teams to resolve defects, improve processes, and maintain product integrity.
