IT Project Manager Birmingham, AL 35203 (4 days on-site and 1 day remote) 12+ months Shift Timings: 8:00am-5:00pm Pay Rate: $50.00/hr.- $54.00/hr.Desired Qualifications: 3-5 Years The IT Project Manager will work to make sure our IT practices stay aligned with business needs. Responsibilities will include Lead the cross-functional delivery of a range of technology deliverables using advanced negotiation facilitation planning and dependency management techniques. Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, milestones, deliverables, detailed tasks, and resource requirements from concept creation through implementation. Lead sprint planning and stand-up meetings to facilitate the entire project lifecycle from start to finish. Collaborate with technical and product teams to break complex multi-disciplinary technology projects into prioritized and properly scoped plans of action. Create clear visibility into status and progress within the team and for stakeholders. Identify and manage cross-team dependencies and risks. Define and drive mitigation plans. Bachelor's Degree and relevant IT project management experience. Strong analytical and project management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize, track, and deliver results. Technical Responsibilities Utilize Power BI for data visualization and reporting on AMI and Boulder project metrics. Oversee Azure Cloud development projects, ensuring optimal performance and scalability for AMI and Boulder initiatives. Lead application development projects using Python or .NET technologies, with a focus on AMI and Boulder-related solutions. Support data delivery initiatives, including requirements gathering with business partners and stakeholders in AMI and Boulder projects. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager or similar role, preferably in AMI, utility analytics, or Boulder projects. Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. Experience with Power BI, Azure Cloud development, and application development using Python or .NET. Previous experience supporting data delivery, including requirements gathering with business partners. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Microsoft Project). Ability to solve complex problems and make decisions under pressure. PMP or Scrum Master certification is preferred, but not required
