Description Assistant Cheese Manager - Levittown NY Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace is looking for a Full-Time Assistant Cheese Manager to join our Cheese Department in our up and coming Greenvale, NY store! Bring your passion for cheese, hands-on experience, and love of customer service to help create an exceptional shopping experience. Your Role: Support a positive customer experience, providing knowledgeable guidance on cheeses, pairings, and seasonal items Assist the Cheese Manager with ordering, inventory management, staff schedules, training, and daily operations Pack, label, and merchandise cheese and related products according to company policies Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work environment Supervise a team of Cheese Clerks What We're Looking For: High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 3 years of experience in a Cheese Department, with at least 1 year as an Assistant Cheese Manager Strong understanding of cheese varieties, storage, temperatures, inventory, and flavor profiles Excellent customer service skills and a high passion for cheese!
