Field Assistant

Job Summary: Assists supervisor and coordinates activities for workers engaged in roofing, new construction, siding, maintenance of existing building/clients grounds by performing the following duties. Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Inspects work areas to determine type of work required and materials and equipment to be used. Runs errands and assists supervisors in supply pick-up and drop-off. Operates equipment such as forklifts. Assists with pre, post, and safety inspections. Takes pictures of work to aid Field Supervisors. Other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Proficient with technology. Bilingual preferred. Education and Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). One year of construction experience preferred. Knowledge of roofing or siding preferred. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50-85 pounds at times. Must be able to climb ladder and traverse roof at times. Must be able to access and navigate all areas of construction site in various types of weather.
