Deliver one-on-one speech therapy sessions emphasizing communication, language, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques. Engage in teamwork with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, families, and caregivers to develop comprehensive care plans. Provide education to patients and their families to ensure progress continues beyond clinical settings. Contribute to inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions when necessary to facilitate seamless care at every stage. Maintain precise and timely documentation that complies with state, federal, and organizational standards. Keep your expertise sharp and relevant through ongoing learning and collaboration with peers. Education A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if currently pursuing ASHA certification. Certifications State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is highly regarded. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of employment.
