About the job CNC Lathe Machinist Job Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC machining centers. Performs machine adjustments and troubleshoots controllers, machines, and processes. Proficient in use of CNC lathe machines (C and Y axis), using jaws of various sizes Collets (16C and 5C). Ideally experienced with running Okuma and FANUC controls, but not required. Works from blueprint requirements. Select Tools, Set Feeds, and Speeds. Run multiple machines when cycle time reasonable permits while maintaining a high level of quality. Perform inspection of machined parts using precision hand tools. Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. Maintains a clean work environment and Shop Floor (Tools, Equipment, Machines, etc.) Reorders tools as needed. Requirements: High School Diploma / GED 2-3 years Experience in CNC Lathe Setup and Operations Required Citizenship / Work Permit / Visa Status US Citizen Must-Haves High School Diploma / GED 2-3 years Experience in CNC Lathe Setup and Operations Set up and operate CNC machining centers. Performs machine Adjustments andtroubleshootss Controllers / Machines processes. Proficient in use of CNC lathe machines (C and Y Axis), using jaws of various sizes Collets (16C and 5C). Ideally experienced with experience in machining big parts. Stable employment history and no short-term stintswith at least 5 years of tenure at each company, No job hoppers, and no contractors.
