Highly visible technical accounting and financial reporting opportunity. 3+ years of public accounting experience. CPA preferred. For more opportunities from KNM Resources, please visit Responsibilities Conduct research and analysis of complex technical accounting and financial reporting issues Present critical issues and their proposed resolution to leadership and external auditors Continually assess the impact of accounting pronouncements on the business Parter with the business and align with corporate in support of the month-end close and related management reporting Evaluate derivatives and hedge accounting treatment utilized in contracts Ensure corporate accounting policies are in accordance with SEC and GAAP requirements by remaining up-to-date on new and proposed accounting pronouncements Assist with prep and review of SEC filings Provide necessary documentation to the external auditors Work on special projects as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting 3+ of Public Accounting experience CPA preferred Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC financial reporting requirements Excellent written and communication skills
